The NOSHOK IDE20 Series Intelligent Loop-Powered Panel Meter is a high-precision 1/8 DIN digital process indicator engineered for demanding industrial process control, tank level monitoring, and flow rate calculation. Operating entirely from a standard 4 mA to 20 mA current loop without requiring auxiliary power lines, the IDE20 features an advanced dual-line display: a 5-digit, 0.7" (17.8 mm) upper display for primary process variables and an 8-digit, 0.4" (10.2 mm) alphanumeric lower display for engineering units, custom tags, or secondary metrics. Its ultra-high ±0.02% of span accuracy, 32-point custom strapping table linearization, square root extraction, and programmable exponent math functions deliver precise measurement even in non-linear tanks and open-channel flumes. The meter includes a loop-powered white backlight that automatically shifts to an attention-grabbing red during alarm states. The NOSHOK IDE20 Series Intelligent Loop-Powered Panel Meter provides clear, localized process visibility and advanced alarm management in control rooms, local panel boards, and field junction enclosures. Because the meter draws its operating current and backlighting directly from the 4-20 mA transmitter loop, installation is simplified by eliminating the need for dedicated AC/DC power supplies and secondary wiring.
Equipped with a powerful mathematical coprocessor, the IDE20 easily handles complex process conversions including round horizontal tank volume strapping via up to 32 calibration points, differential pressure flow calculation via square root extraction, and open-channel weir flow formulas. The dual-line display provides simultaneous viewing of the primary process value (such as Gallons, PSI, or Height in Feet & Inches) alongside engineering units, totalizers, or custom process identifiers.

USB Configuration Utility: The IDE20 is supplied with intuitive PC software allowing operators to configure input scaling, custom engineering units, 32-point strapping curves, and relay alarm trip points via a standard USB connection.
Loop Burden Considerations: Ensure the 4-20 mA current loop transmitter power supply has sufficient compliance voltage to support the IDE20 voltage drop (1.5 Vdc standard, 4.5 Vdc with backlight) in addition to loop cable resistance and transmitter minimum operating voltage.
Height Display Mode (HB): The HB option formats level readings into standard feet and inches (e.g. 12FT 06IN) with an intuitive 20-segment visual tank level bargraph.
