The NOSHOK IDE40 Series Multivariable Controller is an industrial-grade, panel-mount supervisory indicator and process controller designed for centralized monitoring, alarm management, and batch automation across multi-tank systems and complex industrial processes. Featuring a vibrant 5.7" (145 mm) QVGA color graphic display (320 x 240 pixels) with high-efficiency white backlighting, the IDE40 organizes process data across up to 20 customizable screens, simultaneously displaying numeric readouts (up to 15 digits or feet/inches level formats), 20-division color bargraphs, and channel status tags. Engineered for extreme flexibility, its modular backplane accommodates up to 7 field-swappable I/O expansion cards—supporting any combination of 4-20 mA analog inputs, RTD/thermocouple temperature sensors, pulse flow meters, digital inputs, isolated analog outputs, and up to 30 form-C alarm relays. With native RS-485 Modbus RTU/ASCII, optional 10/100 Ethernet TCP/IP, onboard data logging, automated batch delivery control, and Class I, Div 2 nonincendive hazardous location approvals, the IDE40 provides complete plant-floor visibility and distributed process control in a rugged NEMA 4X / IP66 enclosure.

The NOSHOK IDE40 Series Multivariable Controller sets a new standard for local supervisory control and multi-point process indication. Combining the capabilities of a dedicated human-machine interface (HMI), a multi-channel digital indicator, and an advanced programmable alarm controller into a single compact NEMA 4X / IP66 panel-mount instrument, the IDE40 eliminates the need for sprawling PLC racks and custom software development in tank farms and pumping stations.
Its large 5.7" color graphic screen clearly displays real-time levels, pressures, temperatures, and flow rates across up to 32 discrete vessels. Operators can toggle between individual tank detailed views, group bargraph overviews, alarm annunciation summaries, and batching progress screens with dedicated silicone function keys.

Engineering & Integration Notes
Modular Slot Configuration: The IDE40 supports up to 7 expansion cards. When specifying model codes, designate quantity prefixes before card letters (e.g. 3A for 12 analog inputs, 2R for 10 relays). A maximum of 6 relay cards (30 relays total) and 1 printer card may be installed.
Data Logging and Ethernet: The optional DL data logging package records time-stamped process variables to non-volatile memory, accessible directly over Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP (ETH option) or via local PC utility.
Hazardous Locations: Model option H provides Class I, Div 2 nonincendive protection, allowing direct installation in classified process areas without purging or NEMA 7 explosion-proof boxes.
