ASME B16.5 Slip On Raised Face Flanges (SORF)
Skyland ASME B16.5 Slip On Raised Face (SORF) Flanges are engineered for rapid alignment and reliable low-to-medium pressure piping assemblies. The pipe slides directly into the flange bore and is secured via two fillet welds (one on the outside hub and one inside the flange bore), preventing fluid entrapment and delivering cost-effective piping connectivity across oil & gas, petrochemical, and HVAC water systems.
Manufactured strictly to ASME / ANSI B16.5, DIN 2576 / EN 1092-1 Type 01, and BS 4504
Pressure Classes: Class 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500 LBS (PN6 to PN400)
Nominal Pipe Sizes: 1/2" to 48" (DN 15 to DN 1200)
Raised Face (RF) with standard spiral or concentric phonographic serrations (125-250 Ra)

Operational Notes
Internal fillet weld must be set back from the flange face by at least pipe wall thickness plus 3 mm to protect the gasket surface.
Product Engineering & Overview
Slip On Flanges feature an inner diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of the matching pipe. Double fillet welding (internal and external) provides structural rigidity and prevents leakage at joint interfaces.
Ideal for applications where space restrictions or fabrication speed dictate slip-on installation over weld neck configurations.
