FAV PVDF Fittings and Valves are engineered for demanding industrial processes requiring exceptional chemical inertness, high mechanical strength, and ultra-high purity. Manufactured from 100% virgin Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) resin, this comprehensive product range includes single-ferrule tube compression fittings (straight unions, elbows, tees, bulkhead, male/female connectors), precision NPT/BSPP threaded pipe fittings (hex nipples, reducers, couplings, plugs), and robust PVDF needle and ball valves. Impervious to aggressive acids (HF, nitric, sulfuric, hydrochloric), halogens, and high-purity deionized water, FAV PVDF components deliver leak-free operation up to 150°C (300°F).

Assembly & Tightening Notes
Cut PVDF tubing squarely with a specialized tube cutter to ensure proper bottoming in the fitting body.
Finger-tighten the PVDF nut, then advance 1-1/4 turns with a wrench. Do not over-torque polymer threads.
Chemical Compatibility & Applications
PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a specialized fluoropolymer offering superior mechanical toughness, abrasion resistance, and chemical stability compared to PTFE. It is universally specified in semiconductor wafer fabrication, pharmaceutical solvent handling, chlor-alkali processing, and acid dosing skids where metal ions cannot be tolerated.
Unlike standard thermoplastics that degrade under UV or oxidizers, FAV PVDF fittings maintain high tensile strength and dimensional stability across prolonged exposure to concentrated hydrofluoric acid (HF), bromine, ozone, and chlorinated solvents.
