100 Series Industrial Type Bimetal Thermometers
The NOSHOK 100 Series Industrial Type Bimetal Thermometers deliver rugged, dependable temperature indication in harsh processing and industrial environments. Engineered with an all-welded 304 Stainless Steel case, bezel, and stem (with optional 316 SS wetted construction), these thermometers feature a stress-relieved, silicone-coated bimetallic helix coil that eliminates pointer vibration and accelerates thermal response time. Available in 1-3/4", 2", 3", and 5" dial sizes with stem lengths from 2-1/2" to 42" (and up to 120" custom).

Product Description
NOSHOK 100 Series industrial bimetal dial thermometers are engineered for demanding manufacturing and processing lines where continuous vibration, moisture, and elevated temperatures challenge instrumentation life. The bimetallic helix is heat-treated for long-term calibration stability and coated with viscous silicone to cushion internal movement without sacrificing thermal conductivity.
All stems feature an etched 360° groove indicating minimum immersion depth to assure accurate thermal coupling with process fluids. Thermowells are recommended for pressurized pipes, corrosive chemicals, and high-velocity flows.
Hermetically sealed case prevents fogging, moisture ingress, and internal corrosion
Silicone-dampened helix coil minimizes pointer flutter caused by piping vibration
Anodized aluminum dial with high-contrast, anti-glare graduations and black aluminum pointer
Available with 1/2" NPT Adjustable Union (AU) for 360° rotational positioning in tight spaces
Optional liquid silicone filling (SL) for extreme mechanical vibration environments

Operating Notes
Thermowells are strongly recommended for pressurized pipelines, corrosive chemicals, abrasive media, and high velocity flows to enable instrument servicing without draining the system.
Thermometers with ranges 200/1,000 °F and 100/500 °C are designed for continuous use up to 800 °F (425 °C) and intermittent duty above 800 °F.
Adjustable Union (AU) option enables dial reorientation for optimal ergonomics and viewing angles.
Silicone-filled execution (SL) provides enhanced dampening in extreme vibration conditions (max case temp 300 °F / 150 °C).
NIST-traceable certified calibration certificates (CC) available upon request.
